	Alstom had always used Scammels to haul its huge loads. However they were no longer available so the Fauns were the next choice. It is ironic that the Fauns are now no longer available too! This is why they are included in our classics collection.		The Fauns are powered by 16Ltr Cummins engines. This is the only on road vehicle that uses this huge engine, In fact Alstom have worn them out so one of the tractors has been fitted with the latest euro 3 16 ltr Cummins.
	You can see all the details of these huge tractors up close on the overnight stops on route to Ellesmere Port.		With a rubber footprint as big as the 600 ton rigs, punctures are an everyday occurence.
	Because of width restrictions in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire the rig has to do a tricky 3 point turn with a 600 ton rig it causes a few anxious moments.		The leading tractor developed a fault in the gearbox which required some quick thinking. See how the team coped.
