Alstom had always used Scammels to haul its huge loads. However they were no longer available so the Fauns were the next choice. It is ironic that the Fauns are now no longer available too! This is why they are included in our classics collection.
The Fauns are powered by 16Ltr Cummins engines. This is the only on road vehicle that uses this huge engine, In fact Alstom have worn them out so one of the tractors has been fitted with the latest euro 3 16 ltr Cummins.
You can see all the details of these huge tractors up close on the overnight stops on route to Ellesmere Port.

Another safe delivery, just one of three loads destined for the far east.
